How it works

Two things Costco will not tell you: whether today's price is actually low, and whether it will be lower next week.

1. We read the product page

Every day we fetch the Costco.ca product page and read the price and stock status from the page itself. No estimates, no guessing.

2. We keep the history

Each reading is stored. After a few weeks, every product page here shows what the price has actually done — not what a review site said last year.

3. We watch your 30 days

Costco refunds the difference if an item you bought drops in price within 30 days. We track that window and email you when it happens.

Warehouse vs web. Costco's warehouse price is not the web price, and warehouse markdowns never appear online. If you bought in the warehouse, we can only show you the web price as a reference — check the shelf tag in-store before you ask for an adjustment.

Where the in-store prices come from

You. Shoppers photograph a shelf tag or a receipt and upload it; we read the item number and price and add it to that product's history. The more people do it, the more accurate the warehouse side becomes.
